K- Tite K- Tite Rapid (Fast Setting Epoxy Adhesive) is a versatile two component thermosetting and multipurpose Epoxy adhesive consisting of Resin & Hardener, which on mixing in a specified proportion solidifies by polymerization. It gives strong and long lasting bond, much faster than conventional epoxy adhesive. At room temperature, bonded surfaces attain handling strength in 10 minutes and full curing in 1 hour.

How to use: |
Clean & dry both the surfaces to remove dirt, grease, oil, moisture etc. For better bond roughen the surfaces with emery paper. Apply thin coat of mixture on both the surfaces immediately with the help of metal applicator. Use the mixture within 5 minutes. Join the surfaces. Wipe out excess mixture immediately. Hold the surfaces together under slight pressure using string, rubber bands, clamps or tapes. Remove pressure after 1 hour.

Applications: |
K - Tite Rapid bonds virtually anything to anything like metals, ceramic, chinaware, marble, granite, Ivory, asbestos, glass, wood, leather, rubber concrete and most plastics. It is however not suitable for PVC, polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE, silicon rubber etc.

What is pot life or usable life?
Pot life or usable life is the amount of time that the adhesive has before it becomes unusable.
What is 'handling time'?
This is the time after which the bonded joints or assembly can be safely handled or
removed from any holding jigs or clamps. A further period of time is required to reach full cure and the full performance capability of the adhesive and the bonded assembly.
What is cure time?
This is the amount of time required for the adhesive to reach its' specified performance properties. This time is typically temperature dependent, the lower the temperature the longer the time required.
