Kores Vishwas K-Seal is two-component epoxy putty having excellent bonding properties and resistance to chemicals etc. Specially formulated to work on diverse materials. Useful for sealing, repairing, joining and for insulating ferrous and non-ferrous metals, glass, asbestos, concrete, ceramics etc.

Cut equal length of Resin base and hardener. Mix together by kneading with the hand till the mixture acquires a uniform color and becomes homogeneous. Use the mixture at the earliest on a dry, clean and oil free surface. For best adhesion roughen the surface. After applying smoothen the mixture, while still tacky, with wet cloth by pressing a polythene sheet and peel off other curing. Machining and painting is possible after complete curing. Application of indirect heat accelerates the setting.

First aid measures:
Skin Normally by mixing by hand it does not cause any skin irritation,but in some cases with sensitive skin it may cause irritation or sensitization.In such cases wash the hands with plenty of water and soap and use hand gloves for application.

Eyes In case of contact with eye,wash with plenty of water and consult a physician

Ingestion If swallowed,it may be harmful.Immediately consult a physician.While grinding,sanding or drilling wear protective eyeglasses and dust masks. The cured mask of epoxy is generally non-toxic.

What is pot life or usable life?
Pot life or usale life is the amount of tie that the adhesive has before it becoes unusable.

What is 'handling time'?
this is the time after which the bonded joints or assembly can safely handled or removed from any holding jigsor clamps. A further period of time is required to reach full cure and the full performance capability of the adhesive and the bonded assembly.

What is cure time?
This is the amount of time required for the adhesive to reach its specified performance properties.This time is typically temperature dependent ,the lower the tempereture the longer the time requied.

What is shelf life?
This is the amount of ime that the customer has to use the material before its expiration date.Shelf life varies according to both chemistry, technology and the specific product involved and is temperature dependent (the higher the tempeature the lower the shelf life).Typically an epoxy will have a longer shelf life than acrylic or polyurethane adhesive.

What does surface pretreatment or preparation mean?
Surface pre-treatment is the prcess where the subtrates are modified to better accept the adhesive. This can inlude abrasion,eching,flame treatment,solvent cleaning or even just a dry wipe.Surfase quality and preparation is essetial for success.poor surface quality or contamination can cause short term or long-term performance problems with the adhesive bonds.
