How to use: |
-
Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free from moisture, oil and grease.
- Apply a thin film of K - Bond SR uniformly on both the surfaces.
- Unlike commonly used adhesive do not stick the surfaces immediately after applying K - Bond SR
- Keep aside both the surfaces for approximately 10 minutes to allow the adhesive to dry.
- After10 minutes the solvents will evaporate and the adhesive film will be tacky.
- Now press both the surfaces together and give maximum pressure for delicate articles. For articles like footwear, furniture etc light hammering by a hard object is necessary.
- Wipe out excess adhesive with cloth. If necessary use a little kerosene / petrol.
- For better bond keep for 2 / 3 hours before use.
- For more absorbent surfaces like wood, canvas, cork, leather, etc. a second coat of K - Bond if required may be applied after 10 / 15 minutes of the first coat and follow steps number 3 to 8.
Do not stick the surfaces immediately after applying K - Bond SR. Allow the adhesive to dry for approximately 10 minutes but not more than 30 minutes. After use wipe the excess adhesive on the nozzle and replace the cap immediately. K - Bond should not be applied on thermocole surface but it should be applied to other surface to which thermocole is to be stuck. Store in a cool dry place.
